  • Add Jaggary (Gud) instead of sugar when you make Carrots (Gajar) Halwa.
  • Adding few drops of oil to the rice before cooking it will prevent it from becoming sticky.
  • While boiling milk, add a little water  to the vessel before adding the milk to avoid the milk from sticking to the bottom.
  • Grate a whole coconut at a time and refrigerate it in a air-tight container so it can be used easily whenever needed.
